To install CA-dBFast perform the following steps:

  1. We recommend installing a virtual machine. Oracle VirtualBox is a powerful open-source virtualization software for this purpose. It allows users to create and run virtual machines such as Windows XP.

  2. Install Windows XP, Service Pack 3, x86 (English version) or (Spanish version) on the virtual machine.

  3. Run Windows XP.

  4. After downloading CA‑dBFast, extract the zip file to "C:\".

(*) This ZIP contains the following HLP files:

These HLP files (with the .hlp extension) are legacy Windows help documents, introduced in 1990, which modern Windows 10 and 11 systems can no longer open natively because Microsoft officially retired the "winhlp32.exe" program. However, HLP files can be opened with Windows XP.
